On the sunny side of the Rein Valley, a small side valley of the Taufferer-Ahrn Valley, where the road ends, this is where holiday at the organic Koflerhof farm begins.
Enjoy your holiday at an altitude of 1,800 m in the Risenferner-Ahrn nature park, surrounded by colourfully flowering meadows and an adjacent alpine pine forest.
We are proud owners of the highest mountain farm in the Puster Valley which we operate all year round. Whether you are in for a a short stroll or a more demanding hiking trip, there is something for everyone.
For our young guests there is also a fantastic playgourund in front of the house. The alpine pine forest offers plenty of opportunities for fun and play. Every day starts with a new adventure and leaves nothing to be desirerd for young discoverers.
Let yourself be enchanted by the special charm of the farm, the scent of the forest, the elaborate wooden construction and the lovingly handcrafted wood paneling down to the last detail.
Another special feature are the elements of leather in the interior, these were made in our own saddlery and are in combination with wood a great eye-catcher.
Your holiday starts with the view from your window
The first rays of sunshine wandering along the mountain tops, cows on their way to the meadows, chicken happily clucking and dog Timmi ready for his next adventure.
The breakfast basket filled with fresh milk, eggs, butter, jam, yoghurt, cream cheese and speck, all home-made – make for a perfect start of the day.
After a generous breakfast you are ready, for a stroll to the Knuttenalm, a hike to the Kofler Lakes or an trip to the
Reinbach Waterfalls. The Koflerhof is the ideal starting point for all hiking activities.
The Arthur-Hartdegen-Höhenweg or exploring the Ursprung Valley are great daytrips for the more experienced hiker.
Back at the Koflerhof you can enjoy a soothing haybath and you can end your day with home-made Knödel or Schlutzkrapfen and a glass of wine, which you can order from us.
Our summer wellness oasis
If you are looking for a solarium or a sauna you will find them a the Koflerhof.
Grab yourself a rake and join us for haymaking; you will be sweating free of charge and at the same time get a beautiful tan.
If we get the hay in before the thunderstorm, we invite you to a South Tyrolean Marende (local term for afternoon snacks).
Relax in winter time
No wintry imperial weather? Does the sun take a day off? Then why not spend a relaxing day in the SPA!
We cannot boast about an infinity pool and sauna area
…but let’s be honest…you couldn’t do that on a farm in the past either! One of our fondest childhood memories was sleeping in the hay. Lie down in our heated hay bed, enjoy the scent of mountain hay and pine and let your childhood memories come to life.
